Parking and Directions:
Public parking is available at either the Dogwood Deck on Manning Drive ($8/day) or the Rams Head Deck on Ridge Road ($24/day). Public parking information can be found here.
Public Transportation:
THE NC STATE SHUTTLE AND THE DUKE/UNC ROBERTSON SCHOLAR SHUTTLE WILL NOT BE RUNNING ON MAY 6TH.
From Duke: TTA Route 400 provides service from Duke to UNC. More information about schedules and fares can be found here.
From other locations: There are regional park and ride lots in Durham that have buses providing service to UNC. Locations of these lots can be found here.
Entrances to ground floor of Genome Sciences Building from Bell Tower Dr or courtyard:
Walking directions from Dogwood Deck:
Exit garage on to Manning Dr. at street level; turn left (West)
Turn right (North) on S. Columbia St. (map shows shortcut up outside stairs and past the Dental School)
Turn right (East) on N. Medical Dr.
Walk down stairs on left after Fordham Hall.
Walk down the stairs in the middle of courtyard to enter ground floor of Genome Sciences Building.
Walking directions from Rams Head Deck:
Head northwest from Rams Head Deck exit
Walk along path around Kenan Stadium towards Stadium Dr.
Turn left on Stadium Dr.
Turn left onto path after passing Kenan Stadium and before reaching Bell Tower and South Rd.
Walk southwest along path and walk down the stairs in front of Kenan Stadium entrance.
Take path around grassy amphitheater.
Cross Bell Tower Dr. to enter Genome Sciences Building on ground level.
